Rare Out-of-Towners at Mystic Aquarium The New York TimesThe John G. Shedd Aquarium has temporarily transferred seven beluga whales and four Pacific white-sided dolphins to the Mystic Aquarium and Institute for Exploration in Connecticut. The dolphins are the first at Mystic since 2001. They'll live in the Aquatic Animal Study Center, which will be open to the public for the first time. Photo ©Matt L. |
